The treasurer is the elected official who handles all council funds, receives money from the financial secretary and issues a receipt for such. He deposits all money in the proper council accounts and provides a voucher or certificate of deposit to the grand knight for each transaction. The treasurer must keep accurate accounts of all monies received.
