Subject: Knights Council Initiative for Ottawa’s 40 Days for Life Campaign

Hi Jim:

As mentioned this morning, please let St. Patrick Basilica’s Grand Knight and his Knights Council know about the following initiative for this fall’s 40 Days for Life campaign in Ottawa.

St. Mary’s upcoming 40 Days Parish Vigil Day will have at least one Knight per hour present at the vigil site. This enables full coverage of their 12-hour parish vigil day, and is proving to be that extra incentive to other parishioners to participate.

Please ask your Council to consider and pray about this initiative. Their support for this important annual pro-life campaign is needed. If Knights Councils in the Ottawa area, get behind 40 Days Campaigns in this manner, it will be a tremendous boost to our local 40 Days Campaign.

Also, St. Mary’s pastor who put out this challenge and request to his Knights Council plans to be out at the vigil site himself for the first 5-hours, 7 am to 12 Noon, of their parish vigil day.
