We have a lot of work gloves, some hard hats, rubber boots etc. The main thing is to show up there.

I believe they start with sandbag removal. I would bring some work or garden gloves, work boots if you have them. Wear a hat and long sleeves, work pants. Wear a KofC ball cap if you have it.

Great Opportunity.
Do you know what type of work will be expected? Any other work clothes, personal protection (gloves, boots hats) expected or provided?

Worthy Grand Knights, the City of Ottawa just advised our Past Grand Knight, Bernie Bourgeois of Our Lady of Fatima Council 9742, through the flood disaster coordinator, Patrick Garbutt, that Saturday the 1st of June is the start of clean up at Fitzroy Harbour and the residents there need our help.
Our Lady of Fatima council is coordinating a response from their council and parish and inviting the councils in our District to join with them, reach out into your councils and parishes and friends to help us help our neighbours. Our volunteers are asked to assemble at the Fitzroy Harbour Community Centre beginning at approx. 8:30 am. We are told that BBQ’s and food will be supplied by the city.
See you all there,
